Principle Miss Amy Cairney of Tap Shoes & Tutus School of Dance, based at their own Purple Doors Studios, is a community studio for dance and performing arts. Miss Amy strives to help the children and young people reach their full potential whilst having fun and keeping fit aswell as develop their hobby. The emphasis is on fun but students can choose to compete, take part in community and national events and take exams. Miss Amy started off in a social club with a small baby dance group and a theatre group but the business has grown and after obtaining premises she now offers ballet, tap, modern, jazz, acro, drama, singing, musical theatre, and musical tots. Miss Amy was proud to acheive an Art Award Centre 2018, she has won best community spirit of Billingham 2020 status and is currently working at Northfield School as the BTech dance teacher. All are welcome at Tap Shoes & Tutus at all ages and abilities.
